Nude Beaches Somewhere Far Away

by - Marcus July 5th, 2010

Dear Romance Planner,

I grew up a very conservative and sheltered girl, I can’t remember seeing my father without a shirt. My husband on the other hand tells me he feels like I am holding him back and he just wants to try “different things”. One of the things he keeps mentioning is to go completely nude on the beach, the next time we go on vacation. I really don’t know how I feel about that, is it shameful or is it a thrill?

Dear Anonymous,

Just think, you are far away from just about everyone you may know, except your hubby and hey! you’re on vacation – going Au Naturalle is a thrill.

Let me give you an idea of what to expect, most tropical island resorts of significant size have a nude beach (clothing optional) side of the water front. It is normally secluded, away from the prying eyes of other guests on their balconies; You usually find the clothing optional section on a little private island just minutes off the main beach or on an extension to the general population main beach. As a matter of fact, island resorts with nude beaches are extremely popular. If you’re going to Jamaica, then Couples Resort and Hedonism comes to mind.

Also remember in Europe and at times in the Caribbean, you will find women going topless on the main beach as well!

Let’s paint the picture of what to expect. Nude beaches are not the place to willy nilly go procreating in plain sight on the sand, you might get the hotel manager asking you to leave for indecent exposure. The number one reason people say they go to a nude beach is to get a full body sun tan, without bra or underwear lines.

It is liberating, once you start removing your bathing suite and look around to see that no one is even mildly interested in checking you out, then you will see that their is really nothing much to it.

It’s a beach day, so take a book, lay back on your towel get a good sun tan, play cards or whatever. Some resort nude beaches may have a tiki bar on location to make cocktails etc. think nothing of it; that bartender has seen thousands of naked men and women before, besides he is more interested in getting a tip than ogling at you.

Don’t point, stare, make comments about other bathers body out load, scratch yourself, shave….you get the picture. (I have seen a woman shaving on a nude beach before!).

You might see couples holding hands and walking the beach or immersed in the water sensually holding each other close, those behavior are appropriate on a nude beach.

To respond to you’re husband’s concerns that you might be holding him back sexually; keep coming back to this blog and we will give you “things”, spontaneous and sensually stimulating “things” to shut him up or open you up.
